DORIS EDWARD WILSON 97 OF HENDERSON
DIED MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27TH AT THE LUCY SMITH KING CARE CENTER UNDER THE CARE OF SAINT ANTHONY’S HOSPICE. HE GRADUATED FROM WEAVERTON HIGH SCHOOL IN 1945. DORIS WORKED AT SHANNON LUMBER COMPANY FOR MANY YEARS FOLLOWED BY HENDERSON IMPLEMENT WHERE HE RETIRED AT 65 AFTER HAVING BEEN THERE FOR 44 YEARS. HE THEN WENT TO WORK AT RURAL KING FOR 19 YEARS, FINALLY RETIRING AT THE AGE OF 83.

1 SON DAVID E. WILSON BOTH OF HENDERSON

THE FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 11AM ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 4TH, AT BENTON-GLUNT & TAPP FUNERAL HOME WITH REVERED JODY HUGHES AND MARTY WHITE OFFICIATING.
BURIAL WILL FOLLOW IN FERNWOOD CEMETERY
FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE INVITED TO DORIS’ LIFE CELEBRATION FROM 3PM UNTIL 6PM ON SUNDAY AND AGAIN FROM 9AM UNTIL SERVICE TIME ON MONDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
