A man has died from his injuries after being struck by a vehicle at the Henderson Walmart this weekend.
The Henderson Police Department said they responded to Walmart at 3:14 p.m. Sunday in reference to a vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arriving, officers reviewed surveillance footage showing Carl Powell exiting Walmart.
A vehicle was making a left-hand turn and struck Powell at a low speed, according to the police. Powell was transported to St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, where he later died.
The police investigation of the vehicle accident had concluded as of Wednesday. Police said there will not be any criminal charges against the vehicle’s driver.
