The Colonels would suffer their 4th loss of the season with a 6 point loss on the road against the Evansville Christian Eagles, 58-52, in Evansville.
The leading scorers for the Eagles was Josiah Dunham with 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists while Andrew Lynn had 9 points. Santanna Williams had 9 points and 3 assists while Luke Davis had 7 points and 11 rebounds. Jackson Chesser scored 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds while Kaden Naab added 6 points on the night.
The leading scorers for the Colonels was Alec Satterfield with 12 points and 6 assists while Cooper Davenport had 10 points. Lacon McKinney had 9 points and 7 rebounds while Dwaine Moss had 9 points. Elijah Suggs had 5 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks while Max Thompson had 3 points. Yusef Sanogo-Kendrick had 2 points while Cole Branson scored 2 points on the night.
The Eagles shot 6 for 16 (37%) from the 3 point line to the Colonels 3 for 6 (50%). The Eagles shot 18 for 25 (72%) from the free throw line to the Colonels 9 for 14 (64%). The Eagles had a total of 29 rebounds while the Colonels had 24 total rebounds. The Eagles committed 8 turnovers to the Colonels committing 5 turnovers on the night.
The Colonels fall to (21-4) on the season while the Eagles improve to (20-1).
