The Henderson County Colonels would come away with a 39 point win over the Union County Braves, 72-33, at Colonel Gym in the 6th District Tournament Championship Game.
The leading scorers for the Braves was Cameron Miller with 15 points and 2 rebounds while Cale Johnson had 6 points. Kaden Kanipe had 4 points while Gavyn Black had 3 points. Cortayvion Rapier scored 2 points and grabbed 7 rebounds while Jarren Johnson added 2 points and 4 rebounds. To round out the scoring, Caedyn Word tallied 1 point on the night.
The leading scorers for the Colonels was Alec Satterfield with 19 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 7 steals while Elijah Suggs had 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 blocks. Nick Belle had 8 points and 3 assists while Dwaine Moss scored 8 points and recorded 4 steals. Lacon McKinney scored 6 points and grabbed 3 rebounds while Cooper Davenport tallied 6 points. Cole Branson added 5 points while Yusef Sanogo-Kendrick scored 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Amare Srewart scored 3 points while Max Thompson tallied 2 points. To round out the scoring, Xavion Johnson added 1 point on the night.
The Braves shot 8 for 16 (50%) from the free throw line to the Colonels 10 for 11 (91%). The Braves shot 3 for 9 (33%) from behind the three point line to the Colonels 8 for 18 (44%). The Braves had a total of 23 rebounds while the Colonels had 32 total rebounds in the game. The Braves recorded 5 assists, 7 steals, and 2 blocks while the Colonels recorded 16 steals, 15 assists, and 10 blocks. The Braves committed 19 turnovers to the Colonels committing 11 turnovers on the night.

The Colonels with the win, win their 4th straight 6th District Championship and their 37th in school history.
The Colonels improve to (24-6) on the season while the Braves fall to a (13-17) record.
