MADISONVILLE, Ky. (March 12, 2024) – The Kentucky Department of Transportation has announced the emergency closure of Kentucky 2270 West between mile points 5.6 and 5.7 in Muhlenberg County, effective immediately.
This closure is in response to a significant landslide that caused large breaks in the pavement.
The duration of the closure is currently unknown. However, it is anticipated to last several weeks as efforts are made to stabilize the area and repair the roadway.
