UPDATE: Henderson County Water District has lifted a boil water advisory for Kentucky 1078-N between Spottsville and Zion.

Henderson County Water District has notified its customers in the area of Kentucky-1078-N from Ridgewood Road in Spottsville to the intersection of Kentucky 1078-N and Kentucky 351 in Zion. This includes all side streets including the addresses 8641 Kentucky 1078-N to 4697 Kentucky 1078-N, including all of Marlyn Lane, Mariah Drive, Haley and Tandy lanes, Gregory Road, W. H. Negley Road, E. Doubletree Drive, Stillyard Road, Trace Chain Drive, and Shawnee Lane.

Customers may resume normal use and no longer need to boil or disinfect their water used for human consumption. Residents are advised to flush their cold water taps for a few minutes following the lifting of a boil order in order to clear plumbing of potentially contaminated water.

Henderson County Water District has issued a boil water advisory.
The Henderson County Water District said it is undertaking necessary repairs for a water main break on Kentucky 1078-N from Ridgewood Road in Spottsville to the intersection of 1078-N and Kentucky 351 in Zion in Henderson County.
As part of this work, water service will be interrupted. Crews are diligently working to restore water service as soon as possible.
As a precaution, a boil water advisory has been issued for the area from 8641 Kentucky 1078-N to 4697 Kentucky 1078-N, including all of Marlyn Lane, Mariah Drive, Haley and Tandy Lanes, Gregory Road, W.H. Negley, Road, E. Doubletree Drive, Stillyard Road, Trace Chain Drive, and Shawnee Lane.
Work is ongoing and when water service is restored, these areas will be under a boil water advisory until further notice. Please boil all water used for human consumption to a rolling boil for 3-5 minutes.
The estimated time that the boil water advisory will be in effect is subject to satisfactory bacteriological testing. A second notice will be issued when the boil water advisory is lifted.
