UPDATE: Boil water advisory lifted for Hebbardsville area

Henderson County Water District has lifted a boil water advisory for customers in the Hebbardsville area as of Wednesday afternoon.

The district said it has lifted the boil water advisory for Kentucky 351-E affecting customers from Hatchett Mill Road on Kentucky-351-East to the entrance of Sandy Lee Watkins Park on Kentucky 351 East in Hebbardsville in Henderson County.

Henderson County Water District has issued a boil water advisory for customers in the Hebbardsville area.

Henderson County Water District said it is undertaking necessary repairs for a water main break on Kentucky-351 E affecting customers from Hatchett Mill Road on Kentucky-351-East to the entrance of Sandy Lee Watkins Park on Kentucky 351 East in Hebbardsville in Henderson County.

As part of this work, water service will be interrupted. Crews are diligently working to restore water service as soon as possible.

Although no contamination has been confirmed, as a precaution, a boil water advisory is issued for the area from 10455 KY-351 E to 16035 KY-351 E. Including all of Spottsville Bluff City Road and Bluff City Road, all of Boswell Road, and 7356 Mason Landing Road.

Work is ongoing and when water service is restored, these areas will be under a boil water advisory until further notice. Please boil all water used for human consumption to a rolling boil for 3-5 minutes.

The estimated time that the boil water advisory will be in effect is subject to satisfactory bacteriological testing. A second notice will be issued when the boil water advisory is lifted.
