City of Henderson City Manager William L. “Buzzy” Newman was named the 2024 Rotary Hometown Hero during the State of the City and County luncheon held Thursday afternoon at One Life Church.
This award is given out each year by the Henderson, KY Rotary Club to an individual whose dedication to their community elevates them from citizen to hero. Newman has been instrumental in many city-focused projects during his time with the City of Henderson and has played an important role in attracting larger industries such as Pratt Paper to Henderson.
