MADISONVILLE, Ky. (August 6, 2024) – On Monday, Aug. 19, a contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to begin the process of demolishing and replacing a bridge on Kentucky 1412 (Ridge Road/Thorofare Road) at the edge of McLean and Muhlenberg counties.
The bridge, located at the 0.06 mile point of Kentucky 1412, is scheduled to be replaced and reopened by mid-November.
There will be a marked detour utilizing U.S. 431 and Kentucky 1412 through Island.
