The Henderson Kentucky Chamber of Commerce has named Jada Hamby as its new event coordinator.
A Henderson native and a student at the University of Southern Indiana, Hamby brings a wealth of experience to the role, including her previous positions with Terror on the Trail, Hometown Roots, and First Christian Church.
“I am thrilled to join the Henderson Chamber of Commerce and contribute to the positive impact it continues to have on our community,” Hamby said. “I look forward to collaborating with local businesses and residents to drive growth and strengthen our community.”
Hamby will join the existing Chamber staff of three in a full-time role beginning September 3, 2024.
“We are delighted to welcome Jada as our new Event Coordinator,” said Chamber President Clay Gillham. “Her diverse experience and deep ties to our community make her an excellent fit for this role. We are confident that Jada’s enthusiasm and skillset will infuse new energy into our efforts to support local businesses and foster a vibrant community,”
In her position as Event Coordinator, Hamby will be responsible for planning and executing Downtown Henderson Partnership and Chamber of Commerce events, coordinating with vendors and partners, and delivering value for members.
The Henderson Chamber of Commerce remains committed to supporting the missions of both the Downtown Henderson Partnership and the Henderson Chamber of Commerce. The organization said it is excited to return to a team of four for the first time since January and is already making plans for 2025.
