Brenda Fay Oswalt
Brenda Fay Oswalt, age 76, of Henderson, KY, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024, at her home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.
She was both an excellent homemaker and an amazing mother. Brenda enjoyed camping in Gulf Shores (Alabama), Florida, Tennessee, and Colorado. She loved listening to country music and took several trips to the Grand Ole Opry. She also enjoyed baking and watching NASCAR events.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Anna Weidner, daughter Angela Oswalt, and sister-in-law Judy Weidner.
Brenda is survived by her husband Wesley Oswalt of Henderson, KY; daughter Shannon Skipworth (Jon) of Robards, KY; son Michael Oswalt of Evansville, IN; sisters Sharon Tucker (Bruce) and Kim Higdon (Rick); brothers Billy Weidner and David Weidner (Bobbie); 3 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Brenda’s Life Celebration from 9:30 am until the service time on Friday at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 4, 2024, at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Fannin officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
