Henderson, KY – Field & Main Bank has announced its participation in a transformative initiative to enhance affordable housing in Kentucky, following the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati’s (FHLB Cincinnati) recent approval of a historic $49.5 million in Affordable Housing Program (AHP) awards to support the development of 2,743 units of affordable housing for very low- to moderate-income residents across the region, with 24 members benefiting from this essential support.
Among the projects awarded, Field & Main Bank is the member bank for a total of $1.48 million toward construction costs for 100 units across three projects highlighted below, underscoring its commitment to community development and housing stability.
- Grateful Living Apartments in Henderson, KY: Sponsored by The Center for Addiction Recovery of Henderson, Inc., this project received $480,000 to support the creation of 48 rental units designed to foster recovery and stability for residents.
- HFH of Henderson, KY 2024 in Henderson County, KY: Sponsored by Habitat for Humanity of Henderson, KY, Inc., this initiative garnered $400,000 to support 10 owner-occupied units, emphasizing the importance of homeownership for families in need.
- Coldiron River Estates in Williamsburg, KY: A joint venture between Cumberland Valley Housing Corp and Wabuck Development Company, Inc., this project received $600,000 to create 42 rental units.
These projects reflect Field & Main Bank’s commitment not only to affordable housing but also to partnerships that empower local communities. The funding from Habitat for Humanity will be exclusively focused on improving housing opportunities within Henderson County, which is central to the bank’s mission.
