Colonels Dominate 2nd Half

The Colonels came away with a 27 point victory against the Hopkinsville Tigers, 83-56, on the road in Hopkinsville last night.

The leading scorers for the Tigers was James Bradley with 16 points and 6 rebounds while Layton Giltner had 10 points and 3 rebounds. Jonovan Leavell had 9 points while Deavery Ramey had 7 points and 3 rebounds. Jonathan Hart had 7 points while Jayon Bass had 2 points and 3 rebounds. Brayden Kimbro scored 2 points while Jordon Burse had 2 points. To round out the scoring, Artavius Moses tallied 1 point and 5 rebounds on the night.

The leading scorers for the Colonels tonight was Cooper Davenport with 24 points while Lacon McKinney scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Elijah Suggs had 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 blocks while Dwaine Moss had 8 points. Cole Branson had 7 points and 4 rebounds. Amare Stewart had 5 points while Xavion Johnson had 2 points and 6 rebounds. Trajdon Davis scored 2 points while Braden Williams had 2 points on the night.

The Tigers shot 5 for 10 (50%) from the 3 point line to the Colonels 6 for 15 (40%). The Tigers shot 5 for 8 (63%) from the free throw line to the Colonels 5 for 7 (71%). The Tigers had a total of 25 rebounds while the Colonels had 36 total rebounds. The Tigers committed 20 turnovers to the Colonels committing 11 turnovers on the night.

The Colonels improve to (3-2) on the season while the Tigers fall to (1-4).
