Wanda L. Scott
Wanda L. Scott, age 93, of Evansville, IN formerly of Henderson, KY, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, IN.
Wanda was a member of Chapel Hill Church and The Henderson Women’s Homemaker’s Club. She enjoyed camping in Morganfield and at Audubon State Park. In her pass time she loved to do needlepoint work and was an excellent seamstress.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Hulet and Grace Belt, husband Emerson Scott, sons Quentin and Alan Ray Scott and her brother Harold Belt and his wife Billie.
Wanda is survived by her daughter Faye Meredith (James) of Prattville, AL; her son Tommy Scott (Linda) of Bradenton, FL; 3 grandchildren: Michael Clark, Kathy Hess, Heaven Smith; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Wanda’s Life Celebration from 1:00 p.m. until the service time on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
