The Colonels came away with a 24 point victory against the University Heights Academy Blazers, 84-60, on the road in Hopkinsville last night.

The leading scorers for the Blazers was Tylin George with 21 points while Tra Bell had 12 points and 4 rebounds. Elijah Walton had 11 points and 9 rebounds while Frank Pollard had 6 points. Ryan Lackey scored 5 points while FJ Thomas had 3 points. To round out the scoring, Jaden Daniels tallied 2 points on the night.

The leading scorers for the Colonels tonight was Elijah Suggs with 23 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 blocks while Cooper Davenport scored 16 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, and had 5 assists. Xavion Johnson had 13 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists while Dwaine Moss had 13 points and 3 assists. Lacon McKinney had 10 points and 9 rebounds. Trajdon Davis had 3 points and 2 rebounds while Cole Branson had 2 points and 3 rebounds. Travis Little scored 2 points while Braden Williams had 2 points on the night.

The Blazers shot 9 for 23 (39%) from the 3 point line to the Colonels 3 for 13 (23%). The Blazers shot 7 for 13 (54%) from the free throw line to the Colonels 5 for 9 (56%). The Blazers had a total of 23 rebounds while the Colonels had 38 total rebounds. The Colonels tallied 17 assists, 14 steals, and 5 blocks. The Blazers committed 16 turnovers to the Colonels committing 12 turnovers on the night.

The Colonels improve to (5-2) on the season while the Blazers fall to (0-5).
