The Colonels came away with a win against the Murray Tigers, 89-45, at home in the Faupel Automotive/Chevrolet GMC Ford Colonel Basketball Classic last night.

The leading scorers for the Tigers was Maddox Mitchell with 15 points while Jeromey Harmon had 11 points. Acey Stricklin had 11 points while Haden Parker had 8 points and 3 assists. Ryan Walls tallied 8 points while Wyatt Robbins scored 3 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and tallied 5 assists on the night.

The leading scorers for the Colonels was Dwaine Moss with 23 points and 3 assists while Elijah Suggs scored 16 points, 4 steals, and 4 blocks. Lacon McKinney had 10 points, 8 assists, and 8 rebounds while Xavion Johnson had 9 points. Amare Stewart had 8 points while Cole Branson had 6 points. Travis Little tallied 5 points while Cooper Davenport scored 4 points. Jarren Byrum and Colton Thompson added 3 points each while Braden Williams had 2 points on the night.

The Tigers shot 6 for 13 (46%) from the 3 point line to the Colonels 12 for 21 (57%). The Tigers shot 7 for 9 (78%) from the free throw line to the Colonels 1 for 7 (14%). The Tigers had a total of 22 rebounds while the Colonels had 30 total rebounds. The Colonels tallied 22 assists, 14 steals, and 6 blocks. The Tigers committed 20 turnovers to the Colonels committing 9 turnovers on the night.

The Colonels improve to (7-3) on the season while the Tigers falls to (5-8).
