Tonya Denise House Blackston
Tonya Denise House Blackston, age 62, of Henderson, KY, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
Tonya was a member of Belleview United Methodist Church in Smith Mills, KY. She loved animals of all kinds and was past owner and operator of Tonya’s Love My Pet Grooming Company. Tonya was employed by Michelle P. Waiver program through River Valley Behavioral Health which allowed her to care for her grandson. Christmas was her favorite time of year. She was known to dress up and perform funny skits for her family and friends. She was an excellent artist and enjoyed making ornaments and beautiful paintings. More than anything Tonya loved her children and grandchildren.
Tonya is survived by her daughter Tara Daniel (Trevor) of Morganfield, KY; sons Bradley Blackston and his fiancée Jabria Hall of Henderson, KY and Drew Blackston (Savannah) of Henderson, KY; parents Don and Sue Gail House of Smith Mills, KY; brother Mark House of Smith Mills, KY; 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and 1 niece.
Relatives and friends are invited to Tonya’s Life Celebration from 10:00 a.m. until the service time on Saturday, January 4, 2024, at Belleview United Methodist Church in Smith Mills, KY. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church with Pastor Stephen Hale officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Mills Cemetery in Smith Mills, KY.
