Wilma Irene Brock
Wilma Irene Brock, age 89, of Henderson, KY, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.
Irene was a longtime member of Country View Baptist Church. She worked at Accuride Corporation in the cafeteria and retired after 20 years. Irene enjoyed tending to her flowers.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents Everett and Lola Mullins, her husband Jack Brock, her son Michael “Mike” Brock, and brothers: James Mullins, Raymond Mullins, and Moon Mullins.
Irene is survived by her daughter Barbara Goben of Henderson, KY; daughter-in-law Sandra Brock of Henderson, KY; brother Morris Mullins (Marsha) of Henderson, KY; sister-in-law Sharon Mullins; grandson Eric Somers; great-granddaughter Briana Somers; great-great-grandchildren: Kinslee Embry, Raelynn Lawless, and Kolter Lawless; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Irene’s Life Celebration from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service time on Thursday at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the funeral home with Reverend Gary Ashby officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
