The Colonels came away with a win against 6th District rival the Webster County Trojans, 68-19, at home last night.
The leading scorers for the Trojans was Caleb Bumpus with 5 points and 4 rebounds while Evan Davis had 4 points and 3 rebounds. Trace Hardison had 3 points and 4 assists while Kahner Phelps had 3 points and 4 rebounds. Aiden Alstadt tallied 4 points and 3 rebounds while Clay Reynolds scored 1 point on the night.
The leading scorers for the Colonels was Cooper Davenport with 27 points and 5 steals while Elijah Suggs scored 12 points and recorded 6 rebounds and 4 blocks. Xavion Johnson had 7 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds while Trajdon Davis had 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. Dwaine Moss had 4 points, 5 assists, and 4 steals while Braden Williams had 4 points. Jarren Byrum had 3 points and 3 assists while Lacon McKinney added 2 points and 7 rebounds. Kingston Shidler had 2 points while Travis Little tallied 2 points on the night.
The Trojans shot 4 for 14 (29%) from the 3 point line to the Colonels 8 for 22 (36%). The Trojans shot 3 for 6 (50%) from the free throw line to the Colonels 4 for 5 (80%). The Trojans had a total of 23 rebounds while the Colonels had 35 total rebounds. The Colonels tallied 18 assists, 16 steals, and 6 blocks. The Trojans committed 21 turnovers to the Colonels committing 7 turnovers on the night.
The Colonels improve to (12-4) on the season while the Trojans fall to (5-10).
