The Colonels came away with a, 73-56, win against the Owensboro Red Devils at home on Friday night.

The leading scorers for the Red Devils was Michael Acton with 26 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists while Keaton Hughes had 18 points and 13 rebounds. Will Hume had 8 points while Cameron Day had 2 points. To round out the scoring, Zeke Beehn added 2 points on the night.

The leading scorers for the Colonels was Elijah Suggs with 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 blocks while Cooper Davenport scored 18 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, and recorded 3 assists. Dwaine Moss had 14 points and 5 assists while Amare Stewart had 7 points and 3 rebounds. Lacon McKinney tallied 6 points and 3 assists while Xavion Johnson contributed 2 points, 8 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. Braden Williams scored 2 points while Trajdon Davis added 2 points on the night.

Colonels senior center Elijah Suggs broke his and the single season block record on Friday night ending the regular season with 101 blocks heading into the postseason.

The Red Devils shot 2 for 9 (22%) from the 3 point line to the Colonels 7 for 16 (44%). The Red Devils shot 14 for 16 (88%) from the free throw line to the Colonels 9 for 12 (75%). The Red Devils had a total of 27 rebounds while the Colonels had 25 total rebounds. The Colonels tallied 22 assists, 11 steals, and 10 blocks. The Red Devils committed 13 turnovers to the Colonels committing 8 turnovers on the night.

The Colonels improve to (21-6) on the season while the Red Devils fall to (12-14).
