Henderson Police have arrested a Henderson man on charges related to an incident where he allegedly pointed a handgun at a juvenile.
On Feb. 10th, officers responded to the area of Green and Washington streets after a 911 caller reported a man in a black SUV pointed at a gun at them.
Officers were given a license plate number and vehicle description that led them to Dakota Sisk, 21, of Henderson.
Sisk was contacted by cell phone and claimed his car was in the shop. Officers used images from the Flock camera system to verify the car was in the area of the incident around the time it was reported to have happened.
Information gathered during the investigation was used to obtain an arrest warrant for Wanton Endangerment – first degree.
Sisk was taken into custody without incident on Tuesday, Feb. 25th and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center. He is being held on a $6,000 full cash bond.
Presumption of Innocence Notice: The fact that a person has been arrested or charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
