HENDERSON, Ky. – Henderson Community College will be holding celebrations of student success.
All events will be held on Friday, May 9, at the Preston Arts Center on the HCC campus.
- HCC FAME Graduation Celebration – 11:30 a.m.
- Nursing Pinning Ceremony – 2 p.m.
- Medical Lab Technician Pinning Ceremony – 3:30 p.m.
- Spring Commencement Ceremony – 7 p.m.
According to HCC Associate Registrar Tammie Zuber, 207 students have applied for 351 credentials, including 138 two-year degrees, 136 certificates and 15 diplomas. The total number of two-year degrees to be awarded is an increase of 21.45 percent compared to one year ago.
“These events provide an opportunity for HCC faculty and staff to celebrate the achievements of our students as they prepare to begin their careers or continue their education,” said Dr. Chad Phillips, Chief Student Affairs Officer. “We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished during their time at HCC and look forward to seeing the impact they will make in their future academic and professional journeys.”
The Spring Commencement Ceremony will be streamed live on the HCC Facebook page.
