HPD seeking video of auto thefts


Henderson Police is seeking video footage following several car burglaries and auto thefts.

On Thursday, Henderson Police Department received three separate auto theft reports. All three vehicles were taken in the overnight hours from Wednesday to Thursday. Additionally, several other cars had been burglarized.

Two neighborhoods appear to have been targeted by the same suspects. The first area is north of U.S. 60 between Barret and Watson. The second area is north of Zion Road between Larue Road and Spring Garden Road.

Henderson Police Department officials said they believe the suspects were captured on home camera systems at multiple addresses.

The police department is asking everyone who lives in the highlighted areas to check their cameras for any suspicious persons or activities. If you have video, please contact HPD via 911 so an officer can be dispatched to your location.

Overnight patrol officers have increased their patrols in the area. HPD you to lock your vehicles, remove keys and key fobs, and to keep your valuables out of plain sight.
