June 4, 2025 (Henderson, Ky.) – The Henderson Tourist Commission has announced the return of American Cruise Lines to the Henderson riverfront for the 2025 season.

The first docking of American Cruise Lines in Henderson since 2022, this year’s schedule includes three overnight stops, offering passengers more time to explore the community’s natural beauty, local flavor, and rich history.

The American Heritage, part of the line’s modern riverboat fleet that carries up to 150 passengers, is set to dock in Henderson on the following dates:

  • June 23–24, 2025
  • August 25–26, 2025
  • September 1–2, 2025

“We are thrilled to welcome American Cruise Lines and their guests back to Henderson,” said Abby Dixon, Executive Director of the Henderson Tourist Commission. “These visits provide valuable opportunities for guests to get a sampling of the charm and hospitality our river town has to offer. We look forward to growing our relationship and presenting new opportunities for river cruisers to explore Henderson.”

While docked in Henderson, cruise guests will board a motorcoach for a tour of the historic district and a visit to John James Audubon State Park. There, they’ll enjoy a guided tour of the museum, interactive experiences with wildlife, and time to explore the museum and nature center at their own pace.

The excursion continues across the river to Evansville for a tour of the historic USS LST-325 before returning to downtown Henderson. Each visit supports Henderson’s ongoing mission to position itself as a destination along the Ohio River that is rich in culture and hospitality.

Community members and visitors are encouraged to visit the riverfront during cruise dockings to enjoy the lively atmosphere and showcase a warm Henderson welcome.
