Henderson Police are investigating a weekend shooting that left one person injured.
On June 15th at 2:20am, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of S. Alves for a report of shots being fired.
While investigating the call, officers located shell casings in the roadway. Further inspection revealed at least one bullet entered an occupied home.
No injuries were reported in the home.
A short time later, a victim arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm. The victim said she was arriving at her home on Alves when someone in a car fired shots into her vehicle.
The victim is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact HPD at 270-831-1295. Residents in the area with cameras are also being asked to review their system for possible videos of a car in the area around that time.
