Kenneth Earl Bartlett

 

Kenneth Earl Bartlett, age 76, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 8:28 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at his home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.

 

From a very young age, Kenneth worked in the sawmill industry, learning the trade his father taught him. In 1978, he owned and operated Bartlett Saw Service Incorporated until his retirement in 2022. Kenneth was a hard worker and was an excellent saw filer. He had many interests. He enjoyed playing pool with his grandchildren and was an avid reader of John Grisham and James Patterson novels. Kenneth loved his two dogs Abigail and Smarty.

 

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Robbie Bartlett, siblings David Bartlett, Tommy Bartlett, and Jimmy Bartlett, and his aunt Helen Morris.

 

Kenneth is survived by his wife Joy Bartlett of Henderson, KY; daughter Mendi Wrinkles (Thomas) of Henderson, KY; son Eric Bartlett (Winnie) of Henderson, KY; sister Linda Willhite of Henderson, KY; brother Bob E. Bartlett of Dumas, AR; 5 grandchildren: Jake Bartlett (Kaitlyn), McKinzie Bartlett (Tyler Lovelace), Spencer Bartlett (Lana Eastwood), Simon Wrinkles, and Eli Wrinkles; 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to Kenneth’s Life Celebration from 12:00 p.m. until service time on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Brother Matthew Fulkerson officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.

Anna Mae Mills Beck

 

Anna Mae Mills Beck, age 94, of Henderson, KY, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Redbanks Nursing Home in Henderson.

 

Anna retired from Sani Clean after 30 years of service. She was a former member of Immanual Baptist Temple. Anna enjoyed Saturday morning breakfast with her sons. She was caring person and never met a stranger. Anna was always very pleasant and had a beautiful smile. More than anything she loved her children and grandchildren.

 

Anna was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Lou Inez Mills, husband Calvin Beck, Sr., siblings: Chestine Mills Crafton, Pauline Mills Byrne, Ruth Mills Jacobs, Georgie Mills Confer, Thomas Mills, Delbert Mills, Sonny Mills, daughter-in-law Jean Beck, and son-in-law George Bennett.

 

Anna is survived by her daughter Jo Ann Bennett of Henderson, KY; sons Calvin Beck, Jr. (Amy) of Owensboro, KY, Kenneth Wayne Beck (Candy) of Henderson, KY, and Roger D. Beck (Dave) of Evansville, IN; sister Martha Standrige of Henderson, KY; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to Anna’s Life Celebration from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service time on Thursday at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the funeral home with Reverend Kevin Stone officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
