Comer serving as keynote speaker at Annual Dinner

HENDERSON, KY –Congressman James Comer will be the keynote speaker for the 2025 Annual Chamber Dinner.

The dinner will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22nd at the Henderson City-County Airport. The event is presented by Field & Main Bank.

Comer has represented Kentucky’s 1st Congressional District in Congress since 2016, which covers 35 counties from the Mississippi River to Central Kentucky. He currently serves as chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, where he advocates for reducing waste, fraud, and abuse in government.

A farmer and businessman by trade, Comer served six terms in the Kentucky State House and four years as Kentucky’s Commissioner of Agriculture prior to his election to Congress in 2016.

A graduate of Western Kentucky University, he and his wife TJ have three children – Reagan, Harlan, and Aniston.

Congressman James Comer has also played a pivotal role in the future of Henderson’s air infrastructure – securing over $12 million in Community Project Funding toward a $14 million runway expansion and reconstruction at the Henderson City-County Airport, according to a news release from the Chamber.

This long-anticipated project will extend and upgrade the runway – improving safety, accommodating larger aircraft, and positioning our airport as a key asset for local economic development.

Tickets are now available for the annual dinner through the Henderson Chamber of Commerce website.

Pricing is $75 for Chamber members with the early bird rate, and $120 for non-members. Early registration is encouraged due to limited seating.
