Lions Gear Up for 2025 Arts & Crafts Festival at Audubon State Park

Henderson Lions are preparing for one of the area’s biggest fall traditions – the Henderson Lions Arts & Crafts Festival at Audubon State Park.

The festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4 and Sunday, Oct. 5 in Audubon State Park.

The cost to enter is $5 per vehicle. Ample parking is available in the park, and shuttles will run throughout the weekend to carry guests to and from festival areas.

 A Wide Variety of Vendors

This year, more than 100 craft vendors from Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois and Tennessee will set up booths throughout Audubon State Park. All items are handmade by the vendors, offering guests the chance to purchase one-of-a-kind creations.

Offerings will include:

  • Handmade dolls and toys including wooden toys, crocheted plushies and animals
  • Seasonal décor and wreaths, including fall arrangements, Halloween decorations and Christmas ornaments
  • Handcrafted jewelry, apparel and accessories
  • Home and kitchen items such as pottery, charcuterie/cutting boards, embroidered towels, handwoven linens, paintings, fine art, stained glass and unique repurposed items
  • Bath products, soaps, lotions, candles, essential oils and natural skincare
  • Specialty foods such as local honey, jams, salsas, fudge, freeze-dried candies, baked goods and kettle corn

Food Options for Every Taste

A full lineup of food vendors will be on site, offering:

  • Favorites like tacos, walking tacos, fajitas, burritos, BBQ classics and Asian cuisine
  • Lemon and strawberry shakeups
  • Popcorn, kettle corn, caramel corn and candied nuts
  • Homemade fudge, cinnamon rolls, cookies and other sweets

 A Festival with a Purpose

The Arts & Crafts Festival began in the mid-1970s and has grown into a beloved regional event, attracting thousands of visitors each fall. While the Henderson Lions have been hosting the festival for the past decade, this year marks the 53rd festival.

Money raised stays in Henderson and supports the Lions’ mission of promoting eye health and conservation, including providing eyeglasses and surgeries for those in need, eye screenings for children in Henderson County Schools, scholarships for high school seniors and grants to local nonprofit groups.
