HENDERSON, KY, October 22, 2025– The City of Henderson invites families and community members to celebrate the fall season with a variety of fun, safe, and free events throughout the end of October.
Here’s what’s happening:
Friday, October 24 – Drive-In Movie Night
- Location: Bridges Golf Course of Henderson
- Time: 5:00 p.m. (movie starts at 7:00 p.m.)
- Activities: Food trucks, family activities, trunk-or-treat, and a showing of Hocus Pocus 2
Saturday, October 25 – Canoe Creek Hayride
- Location: Newman Park (park near softball fields)
- Time: 11:00 a.m.
- Activities: Hot chocolate, family activities, and a hayride through the Canoe Creek Nature Trail
Sunday, October 26 – East End Halloween Extravaganza
- Location: Candy route from Powell & Letcher Streets to JFK Community Center
- Time: 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
- Activities: Candy, games, family activities, and a free meal at the JFK Center
- Parking & Shuttle: Park at Newman Park and ride the shuttle to the event
Friday, October 31 – Downtown Trick-or-Treating
- Location: Downtown Henderson
- Time: Starts at 3:00 p.m.
- Activities: Visit local businesses and collect candy in a safe, family-friendly environment
Friday, October 31 – Central Park Halloween Bash
- Location: Central Park
- Time: 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
- Activities: Candy giveaways, games, selfie station, live music from a local DJ, and fun for the whole family
