Henderson County Emergency Management Agency said the boil water advisory has been lifted for all areas except Bent Creek subdivision.
The boil water advisory first issued on Monday for a broad area of Henderson due to a water main break has been lifted as of 9:06 a.m. Wednesday.
Henderson Water Utility recommends you flush all faucets for at least five minutes to clear out any potentially contaminated water in the pipes, including those in appliances and refrigerators and ice makers, and discard any ice made during the advisory. You may need to replace water filters depending on their condition and the manufacturer’s instructions.
The boil water advisory will remain in effect for Bent Creek until further notice. If you have any questions, call 270-826-2824.
