Kentucky State Police Arrest Muhlenberg County Man in a Child Abuse investigation


MADISONVILLE, KY. (November 6, 2025) –The Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville is investigating a child abuse case involving an infant in Greenville, Kentucky.

On September 6, 2025, Child Protective Services contacted KSP Post 2 to report a 7-month-old was being treated for multiple serious physical injuries.

A thorough investigation indicated Tristan Bolton, 23, of Greenville, Kentucky was responsible for the injuries.

On September 24, 2025, a warrant was obtained for Bolton with the charge of first-degree criminal abuse.

Bolton was arrested and charged in accordance with the warrant and later lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.

On October 24, 2025, the Muhlenberg County Grand Jury indicted Tristan Bolton on one count of first-degree criminal abuse.

The investigation is ongoing and is being led by Detective Jacob Stephens of the Kentucky State Police.
