Henderson Goodfellows is seeking donations this holiday season.
Once again, the goal is to raise $35,000 to help provide toys and clothes to about 500 local Henderson children this Christmas.
The gifts will be distributed at the annual Goodfellows Christmas party which will be held on Sunday, Dec. 21st at South Middle School. Doors will open at noon.
Volunteers are also needed for bagging day from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 20th at South Middle School.
Goodfellows donations may be mailed to the Henderson Municipal Building at P.O. Box 716, Henderson, KY 42420.
Checks addressed to Henderson Goodfellows may also be dropped off at the Municipal Center during business hours. The Municipal Center is located at 222 First Street in Downtown Henderson.

The City of Henderson will be tabulating how many donations come in and WSON will read the donations aloud on air and publish that information on WSON’s website and social media.
Here are the donations that have been made as of Dec. 10th:
Trinity Lutheran Church LWML donated $50.
Marshall and Terry Arnold donated $200 in memory of Marshall and Dorris Arnold and Peggy and Bruce Williams.
Anonymous donated $25.
Anonymous donated $1,000.
The Eleanor Boyd Bunco Group donated $160.
CWF First Christian Church donated $150.
Glen and Vicki Winstead donated $100 in memory of Leigh Ann Winstead.
Roger and Linda Meuth donated $100.
John and Julia Hennessy donated $30.
Jesse and Mary O’Nan donated $50.
The Vowels and Head family donated $255 in memory of family.
Doug White donated $75.
Baskett Softball Recreation League donated $750.
David Dossett donated $100.
C.E. and Rita Pennington donated $100.
Total Raised as of Dec. 10: $12,040.
