Henderson Goodfellows is seeking donations this holiday season.
Once again, the goal is to raise $35,000 to help provide toys and clothes to about 500 local Henderson children this Christmas.
The gifts will be distributed at the annual Goodfellows Christmas party which will be held on Sunday, Dec. 21st at South Middle School. Doors will open at noon.
Volunteers are also needed for boxing day from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 20th at South Middle School.
Goodfellows donations may be mailed to the Henderson Municipal Building at P.O. Box 716, Henderson, KY 42420.
Checks addressed to Henderson Goodfellows may also be dropped off at the Municipal Center during business hours. The Municipal Center is located at 222 First Street in Downtown Henderson.

The City of Henderson will be tabulating how many donations come in and WSON will read the donations aloud on air and publish that information on WSON’s website and social media.
Here are the donations that have been made as of Dec. 18th:
Linda and Timothy Hart donated $25.
Dr. Thomas and Jo Logan donated $200.
Mike and Linda Keith donated $200.
George Green donated $50 in memory of Ernest M. Slick Green, Jocile Green, Ernest Green Jr., Larry Green and Mary Pirtle.
Hugh Hennessy donated $50 in memory of Dorothy Hennessy.
Stan And Tracey Williams donated $250.
Dennis and Elizabeth Moran donated $200.
Edward and Barbara Ann Aubrey donated $100 in memory of Jo Logan, Brenda Sasse and Ardith Shannon.
Cecelia S. Watkins donated $100 in memory of Sandy Lee Watkins.
