Florence Edith Joyner, age 91, of Henderson, KY, passed away on Sunday. January 18, 2026, at the Lucy Smith King Care Center under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice in Henderson, KY.

Edith worked alongside her husband, John, for 30 years in their concrete business, Henderson Concrete Step Company. When she wasn’t working, she and John would travel to their home at Barkley Lake and enjoyed their time fishing together. Edith loved the Lord and was active in her church, Covenant Community Church in Madisonville, KY. Some of her favorite times were going on mission work with her church family all over the United States and internationally as well.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Lilly Mae Fedrick, husband John Logan Joyner, sister Sharon Coleman, and brother Ralph Fedrick.

Edith is survived by her daughter Alana Gail Green (Randall) of Henderson, KY; sons Keith Logan Joyner (Teresa) of Marco Island, FL and John Timothy Joyner of Henderson, KY; brother Donnie Fedrick (Faye) of Indiana; grandchildren: Alan Joyner (Amanda), Carrie Keller, Lori Pearcy, Tiffany Tapp (Gary), Heath Green (Melody), and Faith Marie Joyner; great grandchildren: Caleb, Conner, Cassidy, Morgan, Allie, Phillip (Athena), Logan, Levi (Mary), Paige(Tyler), Hannah (Noah), Wyatt, Lillian, and Allie Marie; great-great grandchildren: Luke, Walker, Axel, Able, Waylon, Baylor, and Vincente; nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Edith’s Life Celebration from 10:00 a.m. until service time on

Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Andrew Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
