Henderson County picked up a region road win over the Hopkins County Central Storm 49-46 Monday night in Morton’s Gap.
The game stayed within a couple of possessions throughout. The Colonels led 13-7 after the first quarter, 22-17 at halftime, and 32-27 after three.
Xavion Johnson led the way with 15 points. Braden Williams added 12. Amare Stewart finished with 11, and MaLaikye Taylor had 7. Travis Little and Zayden Martin each scored 2.
With the win, the Colonels improve to 18-4, while the Storm fall to 12-8.
Henderson is back in action Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at home against another region opponent, Hopkinsville.
