Henderson County picked up a region home win Tuesday night, defeating the Hopkinsville Tigers 61-46 at Colonel Gym.
The Colonels jumped out to a 14-4 lead after the first quarter, took a 31-18 advantage into halftime, and led 44-30 after three on their way to the win.
Henderson was balanced offensively with Xavion Johnson and Amare Stewart scoring 10 points apiece. MaLaikye Taylor added 9, Zayden Martin finished with 7, and Travis Little, Zeph Thomas, and Braden Williams each scored 6. Mikey Woolfork chipped in 4, and Wyatt Townsend added 3.
Henderson is back in action Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. on the road at Caldwell County.
