Colonels Crush Caldwell 87-57

Henderson County rolled to a dominant 87-57 road win over Caldwell County Thursday night in Princeton.

The Colonels’ offense was clicking from the start, building a 28-15 lead after the first quarter and extending it to 54-34 at halftime. Henderson led 65-46 after three and cruised the rest of the way.

The Colonels knocked down 10 three-pointers in the win, including four from Amare Stewart, who led the way with 24 points. Xavion Johnson added 12, Zeph Thomas finished with 11, and MaLaikye Taylor had 9.

JahMarion Isabel and Wyatt Townsend each scored 6. Braden Williams added 5, Kingston Shidler had 4, Jarren Byrum scored 3, while Alexavier Jones and Mikey Woolfork each chipped in 2.

Henderson County improves to 20-4 and returns to action Saturday at home at 5:30 p.m. against Louisville Trinity (10-11).
