A Daviess County man is accused of rape and sodomy following an investigation into allegations involving a juvenile.
At approximately 7:35 p.m. Monday, Kentucky State Police troopers arrested David A. Rodgers, 40, of Utica, after an investigation revealed he engaged in a sexual relationship with a juvenile through a position of special trust.
Rodgers was charged with:
- Rape, 3rd Degree
- Sodomy, 2nd Degree – Position of Authority
- Sexual Abuse, 1st Degree
- Procuring or Promoting Use of a Minor by Electronic Means
- Possession of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by a Minor Under 12
Rodgers was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro. The investigation is on-going by Kentucky State Police detectives.
