Several people face federal charges related to drug distribution following an investigation by Indiana authorities.
The DEA Evansville Resident Office and Evansville Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force investigated David E. Neighbors, 44, selling crystal methamphetamine.
Neighbors was taken into custody on Feb. 9. During a warranted search, detectives recovered more than 47 pounds of crystal meth.
As a result of the investigation, Neighbors, Kamal R. Sims, 41, Emmanuel Garcia-Cervantes, 32, Demarco A. Craig, 44, Lindsey L. Caldwell, 42, Alta J. Love, 43, Scott A. Knight, 61, Jason L. Chamberlain, 52, Krystin A. Oakley, 35, and Marcos Garcia-Valdes, 27, were indicted by a federal jury out of the Southern District of Indiana for Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine.
