A school nurse has been charged with child solicitation after she allegedly sent inappropriate texts to a juvenile.
Evansville Police Department officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East Eichel Avenue in reference to a harassment report.
The 911 caller reported their juvenile nephew was receiving inappropriate messages from a school nurse.
Through the investigation it was determined that Abby M. Render, 40, of Elberfeld, had regular contact with the juvenile victim.
Render and the juvenile victim contacted each other through text messages and facetime. Many of the text messages were very sexual in nature.
She also shared TikTok videos with the juvenile victim that were described as “vulgar” and “perverse.”
A warrant for Render’s arrest was granted, and she was taken into custody
on Friday. She has been charged with child solicitation.
