Kentucky Wesleyan College Celebrates National Achievement

Owensboro, Kentucky – A Kentucky Wesleyan employee was crowned United States of America Miss 2026 in March.

Karrington True joined Wesleyan’s College’s Office of Advancement in January 2026 as Director of Development, and her national pageant victory quickly made her an inspiring figure on campus and beyond.

The United States of America Miss title recognizes women who embody leadership, community service, and positive representation—qualities that True has long demonstrated in her work and personal mission.

“Being crowned United States of America’s Miss 2026 is truly an honor and privilege,’ True said. “It’s a reminder that what is meant for you will not pass you by, and I’m excited to step into this role with purpose -serving others, uplifting communities, and making an impact that lasts far beyond this year.”

“We are so proud of Karrington’s hard work that earned her this prestigious title, added Lindsay Wilson, VP of Advancement. “Our Advancement team and KWC as a whole are blessed to have a teammate with her level of dedication in everything she does!”

True will now embark on a year of appearances, service projects, and community initiatives as United States of America Miss, all while continuing her contributions to the Advancement team.
