HENDERSON, Ky. – The City of Henderson Board of Commissioners held a fairly routine meeting this
afternoon.
Two presentations were made to the commission including a progress review from the Henderson County
Homeless Coalition and the Henderson Chamber of Commerce made a proposal for a new dog park.
The Board of Commissioners also:
-Approved a consent agenda with minutes from the 3/21/23 Joint Work Session with the Henderson
Fiscal Court and City/County Coop Study Team, the 3/21/23 regular called Board of Commissioners
meeting, and the 3/21/23 City Work Session.
-Heard a resolution approving the municipal road aid cooperative program agreement for street
maintenance
-Heard a resolution authorizing payment to the Kentucky League of Cities for resolution of claim against
the City
-Heard a resolution authorizing the submission of airport extension project grants
-Approved a municipal order awarding the bid for Henderson Municipal Gas fencing project
-Heard the second reading of an ordinance amending Chapter 21- Taxation Transient Room Tax
The date for the next regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners is Tuesday, April 25th at 3 p.m.
It will take place in the third-floor Assembly Room of the Henderson Municipal Center. There will be a work session held on Tuesday, April 18th at 3 p.m. in the Assembly Room.
