Henderson Community College will be hosting works by local artist Collin Royster at the Preston Arts Center from January 3 to March 6, 2020. The exhibit “Collin Royster: Out Of His Mind” captures Royster’s passion for Science fiction/ fantasy stories and characters, as well as his own brand of humor. The exhibit will features props and costumes from the worlds of Star Wars, Halo and others.
Collin is an artist from Henderson, KY. He has been featured in the Lindsey Stirling Halo music video, DevinSuperTramps Halo FPS, Men vs Cosplay Calender, Halo Waypoint, IGN.com, MTV.com, youknowyoureaspartan.com, Unrealitymag.com, ComicAttack.net, and AlexMorganImaging.com. He also placed in the top thirty costumes in North America on Otaku House Cosplay Idol. He is a member of the 501st Legion, 405th Halo Costuming Group, Stony Props, and World’s Tallest Spartans. He is the founder and creator of Desolate Creations and Maximus116 featured on XBLGamerhub.com. Collin has always been influenced by creating. He works at his family’s machine shop, which always challenges him to think differently about how things work. Creating has always been Collin’s passion in life. Bringing the unreal to reality has been an ongoing goal and keeps him pushing for more.

The exhibit opened with a sneak peek on Friday, January 3 and Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 10am to 2pm. The exhibit will be open Thursday- through Saturday from 10am- 2pm until March 7, 2020.
The exhibit is free and open to the public.
