HENDERSON, KY, May 15, 2023– Starting Monday, May 22, 2023 the Henderson Fire Department will
begin their annual fire hydrant testing.
The testing should be completed during the hours of 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day and will conclude on
Friday, June 2, 2023.
Before using any water during this time, please check for discoloration. If a discoloration in the water is
detected after testing occurs in your area, please let cold water run until the water clears. Do not flow
any hot water until it is gone to prevent discoloration from entering the hot water system.
