The downtown Henderson riverfront boat docks were recently placed for the 2023 boating season.
However, the City of Henderson is asking folks to refrain from using them Saturday.
The Second Street ramp will be closed to due to setup for Summerfest and the Third Street ramp will be closed due to the docking of the American Countess.
The City of Henderson is asking all boaters to use the Hayes Boat Ramp located in Atkinson Park near Park Field.
There’s lots to do in Downtown Henderson tomorrow.
Spring Market on Main will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow on Main Street between Washington and First streets. All vehicles will need to be moved from Main Street between Washington and First streets before 6 a.m. Saturday.
This event is put on by the Henderson Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Committee and will feature antiques, jewelry, pet accessories, house plants and sweet treats.
Henderson Brewing Company and Boucherie Winery will be providing an adult beverage garden. All alcohol must be kept within the beverage garden and not be carried into the market.
The Second Annual Henderson Summerfest will begin at 5 tomorrow evening. This event will feature food, music and beer. The beer garden will open at 5 p.m.
There will be performances by Snake Oil, Cynthia Murray and the End Times, and Xanderwolf. Proceeds from Summerfest benefit Audubon Kids Zone.
