CSX will make critical repair work, impacting travel routes in Henderson County, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
Clay Street will be closed Monday through Saturday at mile point 0.080 for rail repairs. No marked detour will be available during this period. Local residents are encouraged to use alternative routes.
Green Street will temporarily close from midnight to 6 a.m. on Oct. 18th, at mile point 16.090. No marked detour will be provided for this closure.
The work is to preserve the safety and efficiency of CSX’s extensive rail network.
As part of these efforts, some roadways will experience temporary closures to ensure the safety of both the public and CSX personnel.
KYTC encourages motorists to plan their travel routes in advance, adhere to posted detours and road closure signage, and exercise caution when navigating near the work zones.
