Located on South Water Street, The Women’s Honor Court is a way to honor local women.
It began as an idea that Co-Chair Jule McClellan had more than a decade ago. Three granite walls full of names have been filled, so the Women’s Honor Court Commitee has announced that it’s adding another granite wall that will accommodate names for years to follow.
The public is invited to a proclamation ceremony for the Women’s Honor Court that will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at 16 South Water Street. The ceremony will be moved to Gallery 101 if there is inclement weather.
