HENDERSON, Ky. – Henderson Community College has added two new staff members, effective Jan. 1, 2024.
Holly Cardwell has joined HCC as a full-time Instructor/KNAT-HST Coordinator. In addition, Genesis Wilson is the new part-time library assistant.
Cardwell has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, most recently as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APRN) at Bridgewater Medical Center in Madisonville. She earned her Associate degree in Nursing with distinction from Madisonville Community College, her BSN with distinction from the University of Texas at Arlington, and her MSN, FNP with distinction from Chamberlain College of Nursing. 
A native of Webster County, she lives in Poole with her husband and two children.
Wilson received her Associate in Arts degree from HCC in December 2023.
In addition to working part-time, she plans to continue her education through HCC’s 2+2 program with Murray State University with the ultimate goal of attaining a master’s degree in library science.
