Henderson Warming Centers to open next week during cold snap

Henderson County Emergency Management Agencies announced locations for warming centers in Henderson.

The JFK Center at 515 Alvasia St. has been activated and will open as a warming center from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

The Salvation Army at 1213 Washington Street will also open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and as needed from Thursday through Saturday, Jan. 20.

The Harbor House Christian Men’s Center at 804 Clay Street will also be open with beds. Check in before 9 p.m. daily.

Henderson County Emergency Managment Agency said they will update the list as any changes occur.
