Henderson Police Department is investigating a hit and run involving a vehicle versus a pedestrian at the intersection of Fifth and North Green streets Thursday morning.
HPD said they responded to a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian at 10:04 a.m. Thursday. Police said the vehicle had fled the scene before officers arrived.
Officers found a man that had serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Witnesses told police that the vehicle involved in the hit and run was an older model Ford Taurus, believed to be either silver or light blue in color. The vehicle had damage to the passenger side windshield.
Witnesses stated the driver appeared to be an older white woman with blonde hair.
Henderson police is investigating the accident. Police need help locating the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle.
